Zeiltocht 'De Ster van Bethlehem'

Meer dan 2000 jaar geleden verscheen er een bijzondere ster in het Oosten. Die ster is inmiddels gedoofd, maar er zijn nog miljarden andere sterren die — als het weer het toelaat — zichtbaar in de lucht schitteren. Op 24 december (kerstavond) kun je ze tellen tijdens een bijzondere zeiltocht over het oostelijk deel van de Waddenzee.

With the crew of the clipper De Willem Jacob, you will seek out silence and darkness on the Wadden. There is much less light pollution in the middle of the Wadden Sea, so there is a much greater chance that you will be able to see the stars. Get busy and help keep the sails in the wind. The tour ends around 23:00 in the harbor of Lauwersoog. Sailing through the dark, trusting on the light buoys and light houses, is an extraordinary experience.
